FSR Magazine Highlights Rockit’s Summer Menu Revamp

This June’s issue of Full Service Restaurant Magazine highlighted two of our award-winning chef’s and their menu collaboration! Executive Chef Amanda Downing and Chef Kevin Hickey of Bottlefork/The Duck Inn joined forces to revamp Rockit Bar & Grill’s summer menu. The chefs credit many of the changes to staying on top of the latest trends in nutrition.

“We took the regular bar & grill offerings and added a twist,” Downing says. “We also added some lighter items, such as Korean Barbecue Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Brussels sprouts, and worked in a vegan dish.” 

They also recognized Rockit Bar regulars and their demand for popular past dishes by bringing a few back to the menu. And besides the food face-lift, the Rockit Bar space saw a switch in décor as well. Now with a modern, white marble look and customizable LED bar lighting, an entirely new atmosphere is created where “bar food [gets] a chef treatment.”
